At breakfast this morning, our tour guide said he had something planned for today. Things have been changing and we were glad to have something planned for us! We went to the BC Wildlife Park and saw many animals who have been injured or just couldn’t make it in the wild for one reason or another.
On the way back to the hotel, we stopped for ice cream! Made my day!
In back of our hotel there is a chair lift to the top of the mountain and we took it. It sure was windy and cold at the top, but we’re glad we went.
A few pictures from around the hotel.
Those poor animals and I know it was cold at the top of the mountain but what a beautiful view! It must be what God sees when he looks down. Journey om, Roz.
ReplyDeleteOf course at the back of the hotel there is a chairlift! A mild statement that blew me away! Chuckling! The views are surprising as well as breathtaking! How far up does it actually go to get such a startling panoramic view? How long did it take to get up there?Looks like a helicopter or airplane view! And you did it in a chair! Gobsmacking! Each of your hotels has been a vacation in itself. Super planning! Heart-rending wildlife park. So sad but so lovely an idea. Great pix as per always. Thank you! —Nancy.
ReplyDeleteNancy, the mountains we’ve been on have been from 6,000 to 11,000 ft. It takes about 20 minutes by gondola to get to the top. The chair lifts take a little longer. The views certainly are breathtaking!

ReplyDeleteTry again…just texts and could not get it to publish! Grrr! So computer challenged! Animals, scenery, chair lift, and ice cream…perfect day! And, it’s cool…jacket weather plus one even has her hood on.., would that be you, Maria? Enjoy the blessings in the day! Penny & Cal
ReplyDeleteYes, Penny, definitely me with the hood! It was chilly and very windy!
