We went on the Peak to Peak Gondola ride. It started in the back of the hotel, rode to the top of Blackcomb Mountain, switched gondolas, and crossed over to Whistler Mountain. They are both about 6,000 ft.
2010 Winter Olympics had events here!
The views were indescribable! Vern and I decided to take a chair lift to take us even further up the mountain. It was quite a downhill hike to get there! What we’re we π€ thinking? We would have to go uphill when we came back!
I decided to cross the suspension bridge. I didn’t look down or anywhere except where I was going so no pictures from there. As I got 1/2 way across, the wind started blowing, with fog so thick, bridge swaying, and no visibility! That was it for me! I couldn’t get back fast enough!
WE MADE IT!!
Another beautiful view! And, Vern having a beer at dinner! Those of you who know him, know he does not drink beer. But he said he deserved it after all the hiking and exercise today! Well over 12,000 steps!
