We stopped at a grocery store to get lunch and ate at a picnic table at a rest stop. No restaurants on this road, the trans Canadian highway.
We made stops at the breath-taking Lake Louise and Lake Moraine.
Lake Louise
Lake Moraine
It is now 50 degrees. Hotels here do not have air conditioning because they never need it. However, the locals have said that last week it was hotter than it has ever been. We’re lucky that it’s back to normal.
Greg and I loved Lake Louise; the water was so blue. When we went into the hotel, just to see it, a lady was playing a harp. Banff was the place Greg fell into the glacier, be careful. So glad you took this trip. Love, Roz
ReplyDeleteYou were lucky to get into the hotel, Roz! They no longer allow anyone to go in except guests. We were supposed to be walking on a glacier in Jasper, so we won’t get as close as you and Greg. No glacier walks today in Banff. We will see some though. ❤️

ReplyDeleteThank you, DF btw! 42 degrees this morning! 🥰. The waters actually look green in person. They are glacial fed.
